Again with the weird dreams. Last night I was at Marlo Thomas’ beach house (Phil Donahue was not there and it wasn’t discussed as to why. I did sense some tension on the subject though) and for some reason I was spending all my time mixing drinks for people. But her ice machine in the refrigerator door was broken so whenever you pressed the lever a million little cubes would fly out all over the floor. Now that is embarrassing. After searching high and low for a set of matching glasses, I have to say I think Marlo may have a little sticky finger problem because most of her glasses came from the Pub down the street.

A little later on in the dream Martin Scorsese turned up. He is a very charming guy but he has a weird speech thing. He will be talking normally then put a huge emphasis on a word that should have no emphasis. I had to sit next to him at dinner and by dessert I had to tell him to stop doing it because it was really annoying. He seemed to take it in stride and thanked me for being so honest with him. He also took to calling me Voo, I am not sure why but I went with it. By the end of the night everyone was calling me Voo and we laughed. Oh did we laugh.

The next day Marlo (yes, we are on a first name basis thank you!) had a woman over to assess her house and all its contents. Apparently the Donahues are having money issues. Unfortunately the woman said she had nothing of value and the house needed a lot of work so it wasn’t worth much either. Of course Marlo did not take this well. Who would? I tried to console her but had to explain that since she hadn’t updated anything since 1974 and the furniture had an Early American garage sale quality to it… what did she expect? I just can’t take Marlo crying so I phoned the people at Cash in the Attic on the BBC. She sold her collection of Royal Doultan dogs for ₤1,000 and her collection of genuine Pub pint glasses for ₤300 and that seemed to make her happy.
